Laxfield & District Museum

Laxfield & District Museum, Laxfield, Suffolk, England

The Guildhall is an early 16th century building and worthy of a visit in its own right. It houses the museum which mainly focuses on rural life over the past two centuries. Changing exhibitions have made the museum a popular venue for return visits. There is a 'hands on' children's table and an automaton made by the famous toymaker, Ron Fuller. A great afternoon out for all the family!

The museum is housed in the ancient Guildhall in the centre of the village of Laxfield on the B1117, opposite the Church and one of the two public houses. Parking is on the street.
